Travel

Out of necessity, trips are probably a tad less spontaneous, though it's unlikely we actually plan them more than 2 weeks in advance.  Ideas are always welcome.  Cheap is preferable but we aren't exactly poor either... we just have no budget.

Where have we been? Where should we go next? Is there anywhere we haven't visited in the Bay area? Perhaps it's time to travel further...

So Great America is not open the weekdays of spring break. Only the Sundays of break. So either the 25 or 31 of March.

So as a summary of yesterday's talk, we have a handful of meteor showers/eclipses we'll be watching for.  We also have a potential Great America event coming up Spring Break (thanks Geoff/Vida if you can get more details on that).  And later April-ish we'll want to go Kayaking.

I still want to go sky diving but we'll see. Tongue

Of course, we shouldn't just waste the whole trip on just the peaks, so anything else you guys want to do in SF, speak up. Smiley

Thursdays I have class from 5 to 7 but Sundays are good, and yeah, this would huts be a couple of hours. Would next Sunday be good?

I am relatively free Thursday if we want to do like a 2-3 hr thing (4-pm-7pm).
Sundays I am free too.  Jerry and Perlin have a midterm coming up next week, but a couple hours should be ok I think (just not a full-day trip like Six Flags).
Weekend before Halloween I expect most to be going home though.

When do we want to go rockclimbing? If we get it within two days it's only 7 dollars for everything including shoes and harnesses and stuff.

Picking Oct.23 as a tentative day for going to Six Flags Fright Fest in Vallejo for Halloween.

Any objections?
